Our mission is to:

• Identify and compare the elements of quality assurance processes and strategies that are applied by Learning Object Repositories (LOR) such as yours and propose a workflow model including strategic procedures and instruments to assure the quality of Learning Objects (LO), before, during and after their inclusion in a repository.
• Involve as many people as possible interested in LO distribution in order to present different workflow models according to goals and principles as well as a plethora of instruments to choose from.

Basically, we propose to gather, evaluate and provide:

• Quality assurance processes, principles and instruments easily applicable to YOUR situation.
• Competency assessment modules for four actors involved in assuring the quality of a Learning Object or Resource in the LOR.
