Q4R Instruments/ Introduction Creative Commons Deed
Introduction

Increasing reuse of a learning object is the goal of this project and as such the foundation for all Q4R strategies and instruments that assist in realizing this goal. Moreover, with instruments we refer to questionnaires, grids and checklists that may help a designer or an end-user to decide whether or not the learning resource corresponds to ideas of high quality and needs concerning the following dimensions:

  • Cultural -- internationality, social issues and how to deal with religious and language diversity
  • Pedagogical -- learning strategies, teaching strategies, content clarity and appropriateness, goal alignement
  • Technological  -- robustness and interoperability issues both at the level of the resource, the repository and interrepository
  • Ergonomy and Accessibility -- user-friendliness, cognitive and graphical

Each category is explained in the paragraphs below. These factors are used as a metadata keywords identify these type of resources in the in the Q4R Repository
